MicroSeq 2023

MicroSeq2023 will be the fourth iteration of the MicroSeq conference, an online conference designed to bring together early career researchers and research students in Australia and New Zealand from a broad range of microbiology domains, who are united by their use of DNA and RNA sequencing technologies.

This event aims to promote cross-disciplinarily interaction and discussion on the broader use of high-throughput sequencing in microbiology, virology, and mycology across human, animal and plant systems. MicroSeq is an online conference, which opens up participation from a wide array of attendees and reduces barriers for participation. Attendees will hear from plenaries who are early and mid-career researchers making a name for themselves in microbiology and sequencing, and talks from many up and coming researchers at the forefront of the field. There are multiple prizes for outstanding presentations, supported by the ASM, including people’s choice awards, loads of prizes for best questions across different sessions, and even a prize for an online GatherTown quest.

The first fifty Australian Society of Microbiology members who are students or early career researchers are eligible for free registration.

Registration for the conference will open July 26th, with abstract submissions closing August 6th. The registration link will be available from our website: https://www.microseqconference.com/
